Patrick Chan - 2009 World Skating Championship

Patrick Chan is probably skating right now for his short program! Good Luck!
There's a funny article I read about him from CBC
Patrick Chan Ready for Prime Time

Patrick Chan doesn't mind poking fun at himself, especially when little else has gone wrong for the Ottawa-born skater on the ice this season.
Chan still chuckles at a recent McDonald's commercial he participated in with some of Canada's other amateur athletes — where he was required to sing part of the Canadian anthem in French while performing a routine.
The spot was in support of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, an event that hopeful Olympians have an opportunity to finally end Canada's gold-medal drought on home soil.

"I can't sing, which was obvious," Chan jokingly said prior to the world figure skating championships in Los Angeles (CBC Bold, CBCSports.ca), where he will begin competing with Wednesday's short program.

"To be honest I didn't know the national anthem that well. It wasn't since elementary school that I sang it in class so I kind of forgot it both in English and French. I only knew parts of it so it was kind of embarrassing, but I got through it. I'm not going to go on American Idol anytime soon."
Of course, Chan, 18 can afford to be self-deprecating these days — he is, after all, the top male skater in the world...

Facing most of the skaters he'll be battling for Olympic gold next year, Chan earned a combined score, for both his short and long programs, of 249.19.
No other male skater has came within 11 points of Chan, making the Toronto resident one of the favourites to take home the world title in California.
The men's competition ends Thursday night with the free skate...

I'm just waiting for the results!! I hope he does super good ^^''
And good luck to me for trying to finish all this work >.<, and hmwk. Going to explode *bubble**bubble*
