Tada, Kimi Wo Aishiteru

Haha I'm back with another movie (thanks abeer =D I watched the movie). I cried again T.T, it was a touching story. At first when Makoto went to New York to find Shizuru, I was totally anticipating. I was thinking finally a Japanese Movie with a happy ending yeah! And then Miyuki comes, I was like oh no...it's going to be a sad ending. And it was!

Haha talking so much and I didn't even say what the movie is called, Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru (ただ、君を愛してる); Heavenly Forest in English. I watched it on youtube and note to everyone else who decides to watch it in youtube, DON'T read the comments! They'll spoil everything. I didn't read it but I was going to. Good thing I didn't lol.

I shouldn't say much about the story but here's the summary of the plot from wiki:

The story begins with freshman Makoto Segawa, a freshman at Meikei University. On the day of his university entrance ceremony, Makoto meets a fresh-faced, quirky girl named Shizuru. Makoto has a complex which causes him to shy away from contact with other people, but she succeeds in getting him to open up to her naturally. All Shizuru wants is to be with Makoto, so she takes up a camera too. The two spend their days together taking photos in the forest behind the campus. However, Makoto has feelings for another student named Miyuki. Shizuru decides that if Makoto likes Miyuki, she wants to like her too. She wants to like everything that he does. One day, she tells Makoto that she wants to take a photo of them kissing in the forest for a competition. He obliges for her sake, and they kiss in the forest.

At first when I finished reading the summary...I seriously didn't understand it but when you go back and read it after you finished watching the movie, it makes so much more sense now. (Ok, duh right? xD)

Anyways when you have the time to watch it, you should. I wonder if there is any happy ending Japanese movies out there. Hmm...

Aoi Miyazaki as Shizuru Satonaka

I love this picture, the first time he sees her all grown up. I thought "I'll bet you regret it now right?" lol

Hiroshi Tamaki as Makoto Segawa
